Lorna Lim’s beautiful voice, her deep knowledge of hula, and her connection to the Big Island’s music tradition place her among Hawaii’s living treasures. Born and raised in the North Kohala district on the Big Island, she began playing music at an early age with her siblings and parents, an award-winning family musical group known throughout Hawaii simply as ‘The Lim Family’. Her sister Nani is one of Hawaii’s most renowned Hula teachers, and her Grammy nominated brother, Sonny, is one of Hawaii’s top slack key guitar players. Lorna’s performances have taken her throughout North America, Europe, and Japan.

Music has certainly grown to become my life's passion and I truly feel blessed to be able to do what I love. it has given me the opportunity to meet new people, travel the world and to experience new ideas, which in my opinion is what life is all about. I think you'll agree that anywhere you go in this world you'll fine there's a story to be told, a song to be sung and a lesson to be learned. The sum of these life experiences helps to create our charater. It implies we are all a product of our environment.
