Ryan is an educated musician that received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Ryan has been involved with the music business for over 14 years as a performer & has matured into a musical force as a recording artist. Ryan is also the founder of his own record label/music production company called "Rubbah Slippah Productions."
In 2006, Ryan released his debut album called "Big Island Music." The album proved to be a strong introduction as the hit single "Big Island Ladies" took over the airwaves of Hawaii. The "Big Island Ladies" music video was also broadcasted in heavy rotation on OC 16's "Overdrive Live" television show.
In 2007, Ryan released the highly acclaimed "RSP CREW (Vol. 1)" compilation album. The album featured a select group of local singers from the Big Island. The goal behind the compilation album was to showcase the undiscovered talent of the Big Island. The album was a breath of fresh air as numerous songs off the album hit radio stations statewide.
In 2008, Ryan looked to widen the genre of island music with the release of his follow up solo album called "Hawaii & Beyond." The effort was proven a success after Ryan was nominated for a "Na Hokuhanohano" award in the R&B album of the year category. The hit single "I'm Sorry" spawned a music video which has been broadcasted on OC16's "Dis N Dat" television show.

English Rose conjures up the image of a fresh, voluptuous flower blossoming out from old rootstock. It’s an apt reflection, as each song unfolds like its own petal of a larger bloom. Most are new originals, but with the familiar depth of an older lyrical and musical foundation. There are traditional favorites spiced with lively twists, and English songs, both light and loving. Each piece, each petal makes the collection bloom bigger and brighter. Learn More

Jake Shimabukuro's highly anticipated follow up to his last record, 2011's "Peace Love Ukulele", which topped Billboard's World Albums chart. Shimabukuro describes recording the album as a "truly magical experience for me. I'm just excited." All the tracks on the album (a mix of original songs, as well as covers) were played and recorded live. "There were absolutely no overdubs," notes Shimabukuro. "Bringing all these people together, and everyone brings their own experience, their own background, their own interpretation, their own spirit, and love and passion for music."
Produced by Alan Parsons, assistant engineer of the Beatles "Abbey Road" and Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of The Moon." Orchestration for the CD was done by Kip Winger, and it's a real treat. The album will not only take Jake to the next level, but is poised to redefine the Ukulele itself. Jake's version of "Over The Rainbow" is completely "over the top" and his cover version of "Rolling In The Deep" is incredible.

(Also included are scenes from newly- found home movies of Rap as a young boy performing the hula and other acts for the camera, revealing that he was destined for show business from an early age.)Learn More
Rising in Love is classic Lehua. A ground breaking collaboration between Hawaii's top selling female vocalist Amy Hanaialii and top performers/composers Jeff Peterson, Cyril Pahinui, Dennis Kamakahi, Sonny Lim and Chino Montero in the slack key guitar tradition.
One of the wonderful things about music is its ability to bring people together to share a connection that reaches beyond borders and boundaries. Music can immediately bond souls and create common ground. What happens when kindred spirits who share a deep respect for each other and Hawaiian culture come together to share their music in collaboration? We believe this recording is a great example of just this – creativity, camaraderie, spontaneity, passion, joy, laughter, gratitude, and above all aloha. We hope this recording is as much a joy to listen to, as it was to create.Learn More
On the heels of Mailani’s self-titled debut solo album, which garnered her the prestigious “Female Vocalist of the Year” Award, comes her brand new CD entitled `Aina. (English translation: Earth, land) With her feet well planted in the “‘aina,” this brave artist continues to challenge herself with each project. Mailani is originally from the very successful, award-winning group, Keahiwai, and the rocking trio, Mighty J. Her first CD proved that she had the ability to succeed as a solo artist. Her sophomore album ‘Aina gives us much more. ‘Aina includes some of the expected contemporary swagger which her fans and radio will love, but there is also something really surprising here that takes Mailani to a whole new level as an artist. Her delivery of some traditional Hawaiian pieces will impress and delight anyone who loves Hawaiian music. Here is a modern Hawaiian woman who knows how to entertain and have fun and here too is a Hawaiian woman with the depth and respect for the generations that came before her. ‘Aina is both gorgeous and entertaining. Another big step forward from an artist that continues to “Wow.”

Dance is universal. Regardless of what language or culture you call your own, if you witness hula, you always identify it with Hawai‘i. This small speck of land, in the biggest ocean on Earth, connects Hawai‘i with the world and often that connection is through hula. We are not confined to dance hula with just our feet. What brings hula to life is that the hands as well as the music, tell the story of the people of Hawai‘i. The music resonates from our hearts and souls and comes to life with hula.Learn More
Twice-Grammy® nominated international Hawaiian recording star, Raiatea Helm adds to her list of award-winning music with the release of her long-awaited solo CD Sea of Love. As a courageous “new traditionalist” of Hawaiian music, Raiatea Helm’s collection of songs in Sea of Love takes the musical stylings of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s and makes them fresh through vibrant, innovative arrangements. This collection of songs draws upon the signature sounds of a bygone era in Waikiki and captures the sizzle of brushes on a snare drum and ‘sock’ cymbal, the use of maracas, congas and bongos, and the uplifting rhythms of the vibraphones, the bass, the steel guitar, and the piano. When Raiatea Helm’s sparkling vocals are placed within the energy of this effervescent instrumentation, she breathes new life to songs from a by-gone era that were once performed throughout Waikiki and known simply as “Hawaiian Club” music.Learn More
