Shane "HHB" (Hawaiian Home Boy) Kahalehau was raised in the church and influenced by people like his uncle Danny Kapoi. One of These Days
$12.98

"One of These Days," the long-awaited second album by Grammy-winning Hawaiian singer songwriter John Cruz, may be new but already has legendary credentials. The album, which John produced himself, was recorded at Jackson Browne's private studio in Los Angeles. John chose the analog tape format to preserve the warmth so commonly removed from music today. He assembled a staggering list of seasoned players, from the innovative percussion virtuoso Paulinho Da Costa, to Los Lobos sax man Steve Berlin, to monster bass player Glenn Worf, to pedal steel guitarist and go-to-guy Greg Leisz, to ace-in-the-hole drummer James Gadson, whose soulful style has permeated the music of just about every top name in the business.

SALE: Love Is My Religion

Regular Price: $15.98

Special Price: $5.00

The Mountain Apple Company is proud to announce its selection as Tuff Gong Worldwide's Hawaiian distributor for Ziggy Marley's second solo album "Love Is My Religion". As the son of the legendary Bob Marley, Ziggy continues to study his father's career very closely as he shapes his own success. The title track is Ziggy's response to the turmoil in the global community. "With the state of the world being as it is, with people fighting and citing religion as their cause, I thought about how negative religion is becoming. So my purpose of the album was trying to get back to religion that focuses on unity and love."

Ziggy is currently touring the U.S. in support of "Love Is My Religion" which is available exclusively at Target. Hawai`i is the only U.S. market where "Love Is My Religion" can be found in traditional music stores as Target has not yet opened in the 50th state. Now Ziggy `œs passionate Hawaiian fans don't have miss out on the opportunity to purchase Ziggy's latest CD. Love Is My Religion will be released in Hawai`i on November 21st, just in time to pick up as a stocking stuffer or as a tonic to get you through the holidays. While Reggae is cool again on the mainland, it's been the hot genre of local kids in Hawai`i for the last two decades.
