Verge Jepas has been involved in all aspects of the music industry in Hawaii. An accomplished recording artist and songwriter, musician, singer, and performer with various established musicians for over two decades. Verge currently performs with Brother Noland, and has shared the stage with many other legends such as Henry Kapono, Mackey Feary. Vergel has done his own recording as one of the founders of the local R&B/Soul group, CHANT.
Paula Jepas has over twenty years of service in the restaurant business and music industry; networking between the two. The music industry is Paula’s second nature, a child recording artist with the Keiki 'O Waimanalo, singer and dancer since the age of 7. A vocal instructor with SEN Music Studios since 1995 and professional singer, she has much experience in performance, stage management, and choreography for productions large and small. She too, joins her husband when on tour with Brother Noland as a vocalist and dancer.
With music influences of jazz, pop, R&B and Rock, all flowing together, add in Verge’s eclectic, acoustic guitar chords you get a renewed sound called, “Brown Soul- Island Heart”. Their melodies are unique and undeniably grooving, like their musical spirit. The two have been singing together for over fifteen years, working diligently to develop their sound. Together their harmonies intertwine with intensity and grace, sharing their musicality in every story of every song.
Verge & Paula’s current project include the works of original music; their unique songs reflect familiar feelings and his stories from the heart, based on love, and life. You will identify with its familiar sounds reminiscent of songs in the past, and the innovation and freshness of the music industry of now.
